Nalanda Retreat in North Goa, India
Nestled on the tranquil sands of Mandrem Beach in North Goa, Nalanda Retreat invites you into a serene wellness sanctuary by the Arabian Sea.
- Guests can choose from two room types:
- Hillside Heritage Rooms
- Beachside Classic Rooms
The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, offering both ocean‑facing and hillside accommodation so you can shift into a rhythm of presence, restoration and connection.
To make your arrival smooth and stress-free, all logistics including airport pick-up and transport to the resort can be arranged for you with ease.
- The nearest airport is Goa Manohar International Airport (GOX), approximately 1 hour from the retreat venue. You can also fly into Dabolim Airport (GOI), which is about 2 hours away.
- We recommend booking your flight to arrive on the morning or early afternoon of February 11th and depart in the afternoon or evening of February 15th.
- Taxi pickup can be arranged from either airport for an additional cost (we will coordinate shared transfers where possible to reduce cost). If you prefer more independence, prepaid airport taxis are also available at both airports.
- Once your travel plans are confirmed, we’ll help you organize the final leg of your journey.
- Local buses run to Mapusa or Pernem, from where you can take a taxi to Mandrem. Please note that bus travel can be slow and less comfortable, but is a budget-friendly option.
- Prepaid taxis are available directly at both airports. Ride-hailing apps may not always work in this area, so we recommend arranging a transfer in advance.
